Since the introduction of new tariffs in the last few months from the US, we have adjusted our US shipping.
We are trialing our new shipping partner, DHL for USA shipping. As of now, USA orders will be charged duties at checkout and all USA orders will be shipped with DHL with a flat rate of CAD20$, this is a discounted offering for our clients as their approximate base for US shipping is CAD35$. If ever the shipping/duties is cheaper than what was calculated at checkout, I will refund you the balance.
Duties are calculated by shopify and both Shopify and DHL do not guarantee that there won’t be any surprise charges at the border so it leaves me feeling a bit uneasy.
I will continue monitoring the updates and switch providers if I can find a more reliable and less expensive shipping partner but as of now I feel most comfortable with DHL in making sure you don’t face long delays or complications.
We will not be offering refunds for USA orders at this time. So all purchases will be final sale.
It hurts me to look at the duties amount being so high but this is out of my control and it’s not an amount I can cover in my prices, I hope you understand.
