Here is another round up of some of our favorite Canadian slow fashion & sustainable brands. Each of these brands are owned by awesome people I've met or cyber-met and I like to think of these brands as LOA's besties :)
Modern Sunday is a timeless linen womenswear brand by Brodie, such beautiful and timeless designs! She works mainly with Linen but you'll also see some raw silk and cotton from deadstock sources. She does all this with a made-to-order model so that she can control inventory and not over-produce.
Hannah is based in Montreal and does made-to-order feminine and romantic styles, I love her use of prints and textures! Such beautiful cottage-core and romantic aesthetics! She also uses deadstock fabrics and makes everything on a made-to-order basis to control production.
Revol Cares is an underwear brand making period-proof, and well, life proof underwear! I love their inclusivity and I can attest to the amazing quality of their undergarments, LOVE!
Mercedes is based in Montreal, a slow fashion brand all made in house! I just love her designs and aesthetic! Mercedes passions are the beauty of creation and arts as well as working on building the local economy. Love it!
