I wanted to take a moment to share with you how and why we wrap your purchases the way we do!
Today we're shipping out a Criss-Cross Maxi Dress!
Instead of using tissue paper, which you throw out immediately after opening, we fold your garment into a tote. These totes are a patchwork of fabric remnants from the garments we make!
When we cut the garments out of the fabric, we try to leave as little room between pieces as possible - however there will always be parts of the fabric that don't make the cut in the actual garment. Instead of throwing those remnants away (like basically every single company in the world) we keep them all and the ones that are big enough to use (some are just tiny slivers) we sew them together and make these totes!
We also don't put any extra cardboard or paper than what is necessary i.e. the box. We know some companies will leave you a little thank you note or a card with their company name, and it feels good for about 30 seconds and then it's thrown away. Our goal is to be as sustainable as possible - so instead we will check in with you once your garment is delivered and share our love with you via paperless means!
You can rest assured that everything we use is made of recycled and responsibly sources materials, even down to the tape we use to close up your box!
