I've been going to the Bahamas with my family since before I could talk, so I have a huge attachment to it. I've also been lucky enough to watch it change and evolve throughout the years, new restaurants come and go, hotels expand, I've also watched my favourite coral reefs diminish :( (go watch Chasing Coral on netflix). Atlantis has had a great monopoly of being the biggest and nicest hotel of the New Providence area but for the past few years, Baha Mar has been under construction.

Part of the Hotel is opened, so my boyfriend and I took the opportunity to sneak in and check the place out! What we saw was beautiful! Unfortunately a lot of the little snack bars and restaurants were closed and about half of the grounds are still closed off and under construction, but the parts that were open were absolutely beautiful!

By a stroke of luck, the overall color palette matches the Sands collection beautifully so it was a great spot for photos with my Criss-Cross Dress! I fell inlove with this beige/sand colored stone staircase with this beautiful blue railing!

We also got to watch the sunset on the little pier by the beach.

Absolutely wonderful! Keep you eyes and ears open for news about it's Grand Opening, I really think it's going to be a beautiful travel destination for the Bahamas - which is already a beautiful and magical place :)
