This collection is divided into 3 drops. First in September, 2nd in October and 3rd in November. Over the summer I had to walk through the financial district here in Toronto a few times during prime work times. I couldn't help but notice the things most people wore to work. I felt an overwhelming sense that most people wore clothing to work that they didn't really make them feel like themselves. I imagine them having a clear cut in their closets for the clothes they wear to work, or 'work-clothes' and then the clothing they actually want to wear. It made me sad to think that the clothing these people are wearing 5 days out of 7, are not making them feel comfortable or like they are representing themselves.

I kind of took it all in and I decided to ask you all about your work clothes and how you view Lights of All. A lot of people said, they view our brand as a daily wear and not vacation wear. While I usually design collections for this purpose, I never stopped to think about office-friendly clothing. Perhaps because it's an experience I am so far from and have never had to exist in. So the next time I walked around the area, I looked a little deeper and thought about you all. I thought about what I would offer you to wear to the office. No more polyester blouses, or poly-blend, uncomfortable work dresses. And polyester pants...

This collection is a love letter to all of you who have to commute to work everyday, the age of comfy work-from-home has not hit everyone, and some jobs are not possible to work from home. Shoutout to all the amazing teachers out there! I wanted to make a collection that made you feel confident on your commute into work in the morning, and still comfortable on your commute back. Daily Commute is all about brining a bit more of your personality into your work clothes, and maybe softening the divide in your closet of where your work persona meets the real you.
