I went vegan in 2008 at the age of 16, making that switch to a lifestyle that focused on reducing harm in the world slowly shifted my mindset for all things. 
I wanted to work in fashion since as long as I can remember. There was a moment when I was a kid on a family trip to California where we were in a shop on the beach and the owner had her two dogs in the store and they had such cool clothes and I really had this feeling of 'wow this is what I want'.

After Highschool I studied Fashion Design at Lasalle College, in Montreal. This is where I learned how to make clothes but also learned more about the industry. When I shopped from then on, I knew how long it would take to make a garment and I quickly realized how bad the quality of life was for the people making my clothes. 

At 21, I moved to New York for university I studied philosophy at Eugene Lang, the New School for Liberal Arts. During my time in New York, I interned at Peter Som, Marchesa and Jason Wu. Building my own brand was never part of my plan, but while working with leathers and wools at these internships, I realized that I could not separate my work from my vegan ideals.

I wanted to create a brand that encompassed all the things I deeply cared about. Veganism, human rights, the environment and sustainability. I would shop and find a brand that had one or two of those values but rarely found one that had them all. The goal of Lights of All is to make long lasting, quality clothing that are fun and creative but also timeless and that are made in ways that do no harm to animals, people or the planet.

On a more personal level, I am a dog mom to my 7 year old French bulldog, Lila. I am a cancer and an emotional introvert. I have been in the same relationship since 16 with my Highschool sweetheart, Alex. I love everything to do with nature, the ocean is my happy place and I love going on hikes. I also am a total TV and movie nerd and specifically love Disney movies. 

I am just in love with clothing and shopping and my goal is to give you the best customer experience as possible. I consider every garment I make a special love child and I love getting to know the people who purchase them. You can think of me as your friendly, neighbourhood fashion designer. :)
