Midi length, spaghetti traps dress with gathering details at waist and hem and hidden side seam pockets.
This dress is actually inspired by a dress I saw on a girl who was about 7 years old. I was walking my dog behind her and I just loved her dress so much, I started day dreaming of having an identical dress and I was walking through a big open field of wildflowers and tall grass. I made this dress for the first time last year, and made some adjustments to it for the second time around. You will want to live in this dress and never take it off.
This year, it's available in two colors options, one solid black and one that is hand block printed (by me! with a print designed by me!) on a pale pink. The process of printing adds a significant amount of time and extra love, which is reflected in the price.
The Shell Print was designed and hand printed by me, and I commissioned an artist to help carve out the printing blocks for me! Shout out to Erin!
Given the nature of hand printing, there may be some imperfections on some of the shells, be it a lighter color or some little extra spots of ink around the shell.
*the fabric is slightly see-through for both dresses* The top part of the dress is doubled but the skirt part is slightly see-through, I recommend wearing it with a slip or bike shorts. It's especially apparent in the sunshine. I have tried it on with skin-tone-matching underwear and in full sun you can see my butt.* If you are not down with the dress being see-through, I made a black opaque one for Victoire Boutique click here.
100% OEKO-tex linen.
Washing: Machine wash in cold water, hang dry, iron with med-high heat as needed.
